Who we are.
Established in 2022, Halbuild was founded with a clear objective: to deliver construction projects with greater accountability, stronger communication and a more practical approach to problem solving.
Since then, the business has grown across NSW, delivering increasingly complex projects for government agencies, Defence, commercial organisations and community clients.
Our work is focused predominantly on existing assets, including refurbishments, internal reconfigurations, remediation, compliance upgrades, building services improvements, roofing, façades and other complex upgrade works.
While every project is different, our approach remains consistent, understand the environment, identify the risks early, communicate clearly and maintain control throughout delivery.

Halbuild was founded by Managing Director Joshua Campbell, whose career has progressed from hands-on construction through site supervision, project management and senior leadership.
That practical foundation continues to shape the way Halbuild operates today.
We understand that successful construction management requires more than managing scope, cost and programme. It requires an understanding of how a facility operates, how stakeholders are affected and where project risks can emerge before they impact delivery.
Our leadership team remains closely involved across the business, providing clear accountability, practical decision-making and support to project teams throughout delivery.
This approach allows Halbuild to combine the systems and governance expected of an established contractor with the accessibility and responsiveness of a closely managed business.

These systems support consistent project planning, risk management, quality assurance, environmental controls, safety management and continual improvement across our operations.
Technology is also integrated into the way we manage projects, including digital safety and compliance reporting, project resourcing, forecasting, project controls and lessons learned.
Our systems provide structure, but they do not replace practical judgement. They are designed to give our teams and clients better visibility and greater control throughout delivery.

With extensive internal and external training and development programs, and ISO accredited systems in place, Halbuild strives to ensure that all our staff have the knowledge and skills necessary to work safely and innovatively at all times.
We create an in-depth Work Health and Safety Plan unique to each of our projects, ensuring that all relevant legislation and client requirements are met. This is implemented and reviewed consistently throughout the project.
